DCH Marine recently hosted an exclusive Sunseeker Sydney Owners’ Dinner on 12 November, held on the eve of the Sydney Boat Show. The private evening brought together Sunseeker owners, partners, and industry representatives for a relaxed yet insightful gathering focused on brand heritage, collaboration, and shared vision. 

An Evening of Connection and Brand Insight 

The dinner provided an intimate setting for guests to connect with the DCH Marine and Sunseeker teams while celebrating the growing Sunseeker community in Australia. The event also served as an opportunity to share deeper insights into DCH Marine’s business, global reach, and long-term commitment to the Asia-Pacific market. 

Leadership Perspectives from DCH Marine 

During the evening, Angel Cheung, Director of Motor Related and Yacht Business at DCH, delivered a keynote address outlining the broader scope of DCH’s operations beyond luxury yachting. She highlighted the group’s diverse business units, including motors, food, logistics, and yachts, demonstrating the strength and scale of DCH as an integrated enterprise. 

She also shared insights into DCH’s parent company, CITIC, referencing its significant iron ore mining operations in Western Australia and reinforcing the group’s strong presence and long-term investment in the region. In addition, she reiterated DCH Marine’s footprint across multiple Australian states, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting yacht owners locally. 

Sunseeker Brand Heritage and Global Strategy 

The evening was further enriched by the presence of Nick Lean, Specification Development Manager at Sunseeker, who travelled from the UK to attend the dinner. Nick presented an overview of Sunseeker’s heritage, craftsmanship, and brand evolution, offering guests valuable insights into the company’s global strategy. 

He also spoke about Sunseeker’s approach to working with a select group of four master distributors worldwide, explaining how this strategy ensures brand consistency, product excellence, and strong local representation. This context highlighted why DCH Marine was chosen as Sunseeker’s exclusive partner for the Asia-Pacific region.
