On the opening day of the Cannes Yachting Festival, Sunseeker used its global press conference to introduce a renewed brand identity and design philosophy, reveal the first images of its 45M Superyacht, launch the 86 Ocean Enclosed and celebrate the global debut of the Manhattan 94.
The announcements reflect a new level of confidence and ambition under newly appointed CEO Scott Millar, as Sunseeker begins a long-term strategy focused on innovation, individuality and category-defining design.
At the centre of the relaunch is a new brand platform, The Original Mavericks. Drawing on Sunseeker’s history of challenging convention and pioneering new categories in luxury yachting, it celebrates the designers, engineers, craftspeople and owners who have always shaped the brand.
Speaking about the new direction, Scott Millar (Chief Executive Officer), said:
“Sunseeker became one of the most admired names in yachting by refusing to follow convention. This is a brand built by people willing to think differently, take risks and push boundaries. That spirit is central to our future.”
Sunseeker also shared the principles that will guide its future ranges. Rather than starting from traditional functional briefs, the company reviewed each range and returned to the characteristics that make every Sunseeker instantly recognisable, then evolved them into more distinctive and emotionally engaging designs.
Each range will now develop a stronger identity of its own:
All four will stay united by a shared Sunseeker DNA. The new design language brings cleaner profiles, stronger proportions, sharper glazing treatments and more sculptural surfaces, giving each yacht greater presence, confidence and visual impact.
Sunseeker also outlined its ambition to rethink life on board through intelligent, human-centred design. Future concepts will explore wellness, recovery, fitness, sleep optimisation and adaptive living environments. The aim is not to add fashionable amenities, but to create yachts that change how owners connect, relax, socialise and recharge.
The centrepiece of the presentation was the first look at the all-new 45M Superyacht. It is the first completely new superyacht design since Sunseeker returned to superyacht production with the 134 Superyacht. Sunseeker also confirmed that one of its longstanding customers has already signed a Letter of Intent for the project.
Conceived from a blank sheet of paper, the 45M is designed around a highly personalised approach centred on each owner’s lifestyle and aspirations. Key features include:
Mark Chinery (Sales Director at Sunseeker), said:
“The 134 Superyacht marked our return to superyacht production and reminded the market, our owners and ourselves exactly what Sunseeker is capable of at this level. The 45M Superyacht represents the next step in that journey. It is a completely new project that demonstrates our confidence to challenge convention, our courage to think differently and our relentless pursuit of something truly exceptional.”
Construction of the first 45M Superyacht is scheduled to begin in Q3 2027, with delivery expected in Q2 2029.
Sunseeker also launched the 86 Ocean Enclosed, the newest addition to its Ocean Series and the most distinctive Ocean model to date. Building on the award-winning Ocean concept, it keeps the volume, panoramic views and connection to the sea the range is known for, while introducing a lower, sharper and more dynamic exterior profile.
Its defining feature is a fully enclosed upper deck, a private retreat that combines wheelhouse and Sky Lounge functions and works in all weather. Highlights include:

Mark Chinery said:
“The 86 Ocean Enclosed is a yacht for those who expect more from every journey. More space. More flexibility. More connection to the sea. By combining superyacht-inspired volume with the comfort and protection of an enclosed upper deck, this new model delivers a truly unique ownership experience.”
The Manhattan 94 made its world premiere on the water at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the first public appearance of the flagship of the Manhattan range. It leads a seven-yacht Sunseeker showcase alongside the Predator 55, Manhattan 56, Manhattan 68, 75 Sport Yacht, 76 Yacht and 100 Yacht.
Created for owners who have moved beyond compromise, the Manhattan 94 is designed as a sanctuary at sea, where comfort, privacy and connection come first. Its highlights include:
